 Hello everyone how are you I hope you are still in a healthy state and keep up the spirits. In the midst of this pandemic, we must remain enthusiastic about being active even though we are at home.

Okay in this lesson, we will discuss about application letter. What is an application letter?

What is the meaning of application letter?

An application letter is merely another name for a cover letter, the official business letter often included with a job application and/or resume and sent to a prospective employer.

Purpose of the application letter

> It is possible to sell one's own abilities by highlighting the advantages of those  listed in the Curriculum Vitae or CV.

> Provides the opportunity to include material that is not included in the CV, especially the personal qualifications that are written when preparing to apply for work.

> Provide an overview of how prospective the applicant's career is as an employee or employee in the future through the consideration that the applicant can write a letter.

Generic Structure

> Date of the letter

> Employer, job title, company name, company address 

> Salutation

> Opening paragraph

> Body of the letter

> Closing paragraph

> Closing greeting

> Complimentary close

> Sign and name of the sender
